Hydrosols, also known as floral waters, hydroflorates, flower waters, essential water, herbal water or distillates, have many uses for beauty, home, and more! Our organic hydrosols are produced by steam-distilling botanical material. They have similar properties to their essential oil counterparts, but are much less concentrated. Ylang ylang hydrosol has a delicate, floral scent that makes a great facial mist for wet hair and as a toner. There are many ylang ylang hydrosol skin benefits since it is derived from the real flower. Quick and easy, hydrosols are a great way to freshen up any where you go!

What is Ylang Ylang Hydrosol?

Ylang ylang hydrosol is a by-product of ylang ylang essential oil process. The scent is calming and relaxing, great for aromatherapy! Add it to your bathwater for an aromatic experience. Blend it with lavender hydrosol to a calming and soothing bath! It has balancing effect on the skin and makes a great facial toner. Use it to hydrate and freshen up throughout the day! Any time your face is feeling dry, a quick spritz of ylang ylang hydrosol can help. You can also spray the ylang ylang on your furniture to give your room a pleasant aroma.

Hydrosols are usually distilled once a year with the fresh harvest season. We try to contract for enough material to last between distillations, but we may run out of your favorite hydrosol before the next distillation season begins. Hydrosols should be kept in a cool, dark place. Refrigeration is recommended if you are not going to use your hydrosol quickly.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 2 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration is optional, but may extend the life of your hydrosol.
