Is Rosehip Oil Good for Face?

Rosehip oil is a natural oil cold pressed from rosehip seeds for a pure, reddish oil that is quite beneficial for skin. Many people are using rosehip oil for their faces, and for good reasons! Pure rosehip oil contains high levels of antioxidants that helps with soothing the face from inflammation and evening out the skin tone. It is also well known for its ability to lighten any dark spot areas (hyperpigmentation). Rosehip oil is considered a “dry oil,” meaning that it does not leave your skin feeling greasy when you apply it. The skin is able to absorb the oil easily, leaving your skin feeling as if it is dry! How to use Pure Rosehip Oil

Apply pure rosehip oil to your skin by gently patting and massaging the oil into your skin. It should go after your toners, but before your heavy moisturizers. Optionally, you can use a jade roller to gently apply the oil to your face. It is best to cleanse the skin first with your facial cleanser before applying the oil. Always apply the oil to clean skin! Massage the oil into your skin until it is fully absorbed. We suggest using this oil at night, since it may be heavy for some people. But if you have dry skin or live somewhere in a dry climate, it can also be used during the day.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 3 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). It may go cloudy in cool conditions but will return to its natural state once warmed.
